After 3 years of hard work, dedication, passion, and creative drive, I am proud to finally share my 2025 Street Part filmed by Spencer Mefferd and edited by me. For those that may not know, a street part for skateboarders is like an album for musicians, or a photo exhibit for photographers. It is a skateboarders magnum opus. Filming a street part requires countless hours of training, failing, and battling tricks. From late weekday nights to early weekend mornings, I took every chance I could get with Spencer to film a trick for this video.
I destroyed over 30 skateboards and shoes in the past 3 years, so a big shoutout to Urbane Steamboat for always supporting me and keeping me on my board. Every hour, every slam, every broken board was worth it for the friendships and memories built along the way. Skateboarding has always been a creative outlet for me. It's what sparked my passion for marketing, videography, photography, and editing. I am so grateful for what skateboarding has provided me and I hope this video can shed a more positive light on skateboarding. Skateboarding is not what the media portrays it to be, it is a place where an inclusive, diverse community comes together to collaborate, innovate, create, and pursue their passions.
