25 Year Anniversary at Norcon

Norcon, Inc. is more than just a small business, Norcon is a family.  What began as a mere vision for a more client centric world of construction shared by two individuals, Jeff Jozwiak and Charlie Norwesh, has now transformed into a team of over 65 passionate individuals dedicated not only to the same client-oriented goal, but also to supporting one another along the way.  With a legacy of award-winning projects spanning commercial, retail, educational, pharmaceutical, hospitality, religious, and high-end residential construction, While Norcons family-like organization may be small, their commitment to clients, problem solving, and creation of innovating solutions allows Norcon to excel and operate on a similar level as larger corporation.​

Located right off the Ohio Feeder Ramp, Norcon has curated a culture that not only promotes hard work and dedication, but also a culture that includes teamwork, camaraderie, and fun.  From company picnics, client parties, and holiday parties to Thirsty Thursdays, birthday lunches, office mini golf, trivia nights, and off-site golf outings Norcon has cultivated a balanced work environment which encourages productivity alongside personal fulfillment. Their open-concept office, roof deck, and provide an innate example for the company’s commitment to their employee’s health and happiness.  The inviting environment also fosters creativity and collaboration amongst all guests and employees.
 
Norcon's has also dedicated their resources towards employee growth through comprehensive onboarding, monthly trainings, annual evaluations, regular check-ins, as well as a well-developed mentoring program.  Their mentoring program helps ensure every team member or “Norconite” has a clear path for development, regardless of where they begin their journey with the company.  A perfect example show casing this development is with their administrative assistant who is actively being trained in project coordination!
 
Norcon also remains established in its community, by actively participating in initiatives and supporting organizations like Habitat for Humanity, the Noble School Intern Program, and Boy Scouts of America. Norcon also contributed to their community by participating in extreme make over home edition in 2007 where they helped build a single-family home for a family in need (Check out 2007, Episode 5 on Netflix!)   Norcon is clearly committed to building a brighter future for us all with award-winning projects spanning commercial, retail, educational, pharmaceutical, hospitality, religious, and high-end residential construction.
 
As Norcon celebrates its 25th year this year, they continue to implement their client-oriented values while also upholding the highest standards.  Norcon will continue to support and foster their Norconite family through team development, collaboration, and having fun along the way.  Norcon strives to transform the construction landscape through their passion, dedication, and strong sense of family.​
